Extremely horrible experience with this banquet hall and one of the biggest mistakes we made for an important event. The management showed a very polished attitude before booking, but once the payment was done, their behavior completely changed. The food quality was shockingly bad — cold, tasteless, poorly prepared, and nowhere close to what was promised. Many guests were disappointed and openly criticized the food and arrangements during the function itself, which was extremely embarrassing for us as hosts. The hospitality and event handling were a complete failure. Staff members were irresponsible, rude, and totally untrained to manage guests properly. Service delays, lack of coordination, careless arrangements, and poor response from the management ruined the entire atmosphere of the event. Instead of accepting their mistakes, they kept demanding extra charges and are still delaying the repayment/refund they committed to return. What makes this even worse is that we later learned similar complaints had already happened during other events, including a JIPMER meet conducted here. This clearly shows a repeated pattern of poor management, fake promises, low-quality service, and disrespect toward customers after collecting money.
