Paradise Beach, also known as Plage Paradiso, is a serene and secluded beach located near Chunnambar Boat House, approximately 7 kilometers from Pondicherry town. Accessible only by ferry, the journey offers stunning views of lush mangrove forests and abundant birdlife.
Timings: The beach is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. (Public entry hours; last boat departs around 4:00 PM)
Entry Fee: Access to the beach is free; however, a ferry ride is required to reach the beach. The round-trip ferry fare is approximately ₹354 per person, including GST.
Activities: Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as camel and horse rides, beach volleyball, and water sports like jet skiing and banana boat rides. The beach is also ideal for relaxation, sunbathing, and photography.
By Ferry: From Chunnambar Boat House, board a ferry to Paradise Beach. The boat ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes and offers scenic views of the backwaters.
Best Time to Visit: The beach is most enjoyable in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun isn’t as intense.
Safety: Lifeguards are present on the beach to ensure safety.

in the last weekThe beach is clean and peaceful, however you can visit the Eden or sand dune beach by road instead of going to paradise by boat as they are all connected, feels a bit overrated.
