Bad experience. Had booked honda activa 6G. In pondicherry. 1) No Royal Brothers office. Suspicious. 2) Speedometer doesn't not work. 3) First of all, the two wheeler did not have yellow plate as rental vehicles should have. It's illegal business. 4) The person did not tell vehicle is not allowed outside pondicherry. How can a tourist know that? He says I should read conditions on app first. Who reads conditions on app. Later he didn't give 500 refund back. And he took additional 500 payment. After this he says if he receives Challan of 1000 rupees of pillion rider not wearing helmet he will send me Challan and ask me to pay. So, I think I was duped by Royal brothers. 5) I had rented bikes in wayanad, had good experience. Here its dull of scam. 6) you feel its trustworthy to rent from Royal brothers, but its just a business for them. And they will dupe you to make more money.

Had a mixed experience. While the person was helpful and clear in terms of instructions, he was also unprofessional. I had rented two vehicles, one after another.. a Vespa first for two days. The front brakes were hardly functional and the indicators do not work. The fuel meter does not work and it's not easy to predict how much fuel to give back which creates ambiguity in charging for extra fuel charges. Paying such a premium compared to local vendors, I would expect well maintained scooters and bikes, which wasn't the case. The helmet visors were not clean, were badly scratched and could not properly use it at night. Which giving back the Vespa, which was scheduled for 8pm to pick up my next vehicle, the Aerox, the contact person was not available at the point. He didn't inform me in advance that he wouldn't be available for the drop of the Vespa and the pickup of the Aerox. I had to come all the way for nothing and the contact person just kept brushing it off and talking as if it wasn't his fault. I got to spend much lesser time with the Aerox due to that at my own cost and had to change my plans to accomodate the drop and pick up in the morning instead of the scheduled pick up and drop the previous night at 8. The Aerox was in much better condition but even that had issues with the speedometer and the indicators. No idea why we are asked to pay such ridiculous prices when the service is substandard.. especially when locals are providing much better services for less than 1/4th the prices.
