Good ambience,but food was average

Awesome experience in bikes&barrels especially Mr.Panneer Selvam took care of us very well. All his recommended cocktail drinks and food was delicious and Natural. Bike lover’s place and Must visit if you like luxury service provisioning pub. We liked lobster, grilled fish and scotch egg from the cuisine .

If you want to pay a premium for the worst service in India, visit this place. We went on a Saturday when there was a DJ. We ordered drinks and waited 20 minutes—no one else seemed to be ordering, and it wasn’t crowded. Eventually, I had to go to the counter and collect the drinks myself. We ordered a martini, but they brought something else. When I went back to clarify, the staff said they didn’t have dry vermouth—but how do they decide what to serve instead without asking? I ended up just getting a gin and tonic. After that experience, we didn’t bother ordering food. Out of the blue, the staff told us the bar was closed and asked us to pay the bill—there was no warning or last-order call. When we asked why, the response was unclear. They then said we could pay and continue ordering at the counter. If that’s the case, why am I paying a premium for what is essentially self-service? At the counter, the bartender realized he hadn’t even added the gin and tonic to the bill. It was complete confusion and chaos. I finally paid the correct amount. We also asked for water. I went to the counter three times, and we still didn’t get any before we left. I understand the staff might be overworked or stressed, but that is not the customer’s concern. Management should address these issues or price their offerings in line with local bars. They shouldn’t be charging premium prices for such poor service—or hosting events they clearly cannot manage.

We (a couple) went there tonight which was one out of only 2 nights here in Pondicherry. Ambience was good but the service on the other hand, oh my god!!! They charged us 499 as entry fee for a couple. We were there for 2hours and could only manage to get one order delivered out of 3 times we had ordered. Eventually we could not let them ruin our night and had to leave frustrated.
