Visited Indian Coffee House, Pondicherry twice, and unfortunately had a similar experience both times. On my recent visit, we ordered both the masala dosa and egg dosa, and both were burnt on both sides. For such a large egg dosa, using just one egg was quite disappointing. The only positive was the service—the staff were polite, quick, and attentive. On my previous visit, I found the sambar quite disappointing and very average. This time, it was no different. I'm honestly surprised to see the place always so crowded, as the food didn't live up to the expectations for me.

Very poor service. I don’t recommend dining upstairs because the service is extremely slow. I was served a cold and hard ghee dosa, which was very disappointing. The restaurant seems to be crowded only because it’s located on the main road, not because of the quality of its food or service. Definitely not worth the visit.
